Which tools ensure a successful BIM process? Wigand Grawe addressed this question at the solid construction seminar at Kiel University of Applied Sciences. In his presentation, the Trebes Managing Director illustrated the implementation of the Common Data Environment (CDE) in practice.
The Event on June 15 aimed to intensify the exchange between the university, the construction industry and young engineers. The program included internal and external specialist presentations as well as information on the course and the industry-accompanying studies.
Due to high demand, the Kiel University of Applied Sciences founded the Institute of Civil Engineering in fall 2018 - the first graduates have already been working in construction practice since summer 2022.
Due to the growing importance of solid construction, the seminar in Kiel will be repeated every two years in future "with the aim of establishing itself as a permanent fixture in the construction industry's calendar of events in Schleswig-Holstein", says Prof. Dr.-Ing. Stephen Gört, Professor of Structural Engineering at Kiel University of Applied Sciences.
