In the industrial area of Neumünster, Dr. Langness Grundstücks GmbH & Co. KG wanted to optimize its storage area. In order to connect the properties with each other, the existing shortcut and connecting road "Meynwischseegen" had to be partially relocated.
We were commissioned with the project and structural planning as well as the construction supervision for a bridge structure that crosses the Tungendorfer Graben at the appropriate location.
To construct an attractive and durable structure, we opted for a single-span steel superstructure (span width 7 m), supported on two reinforced concrete support beams. The roadway is designed as a steel deck plate with a thin sanded surface.
The subtle shade of gray, together with the stainless steel handrail, gives the bridge a high-quality, modern appearance that blends in well with the natural surroundings.
